The authoritarian collectivists understand that decades of prosperity and freedom inevitably lead to an emerging laziness and disenchantment. From there, the “revolution” becomes easy. Once the totalitarian structure is in place it’s too late to return to sanity. The soft, pampered, and impressionable follow a suicidal path to dystopian hell…and never admit that they fked up.
